What I’m up to…

Left Corporate America due to a plethora of good reasons back in November of 2008.  Being unemployed (or as I call it, “on sabbatical’) sort of forced some new ideas upon me, regarding what I should be doing in life.

So I started dabbling in writing and politics and my main squeeze blurted out to me one evening on the phone, “Write a book!”  It caught me by surprise, but it hit me like a ton of bricks.  Me??  Write a book?  To make that long story short, it’s about more effectively managing the new generation of workers coming into the workforce.  With my spin, of course.  Although this is still important to me, I’m on to another idea that is now turning into a business.  I still have a really great business model I’d like to write about!

You should also know that I have passion and determination that can be prit-tee strong at times so if I take hold of an issue, I might beat you to death with it if I believe in it.  I think one of the reasons I’m starting an official blog is to explore that side of me.  I welcome healthy debate with people who have open minds about the world, because I believe that’s how you really foster a “love one another” relationship with the world and it’s how it can be fixed.  Yes, skeptics, it can be fixed.  How can problems be solved if one allows the ego to be in control?  We have to take the loose board out of the fence so we can at least see what it’s like on the other side in order to attempt any solution.  With that said, anyone who wishes to berate others’ opinions is not welcome here.  Let’s play nice, people.

I welcome ideas, links, articles, videos that interest you so send me what’s on your mind!  I’ll also be posting tidbits and ideas about the book so stay tuned for that also.

Welcome!
